Major rumours this week from Atlanta are that the Falcons are fielding multiple offers for tight end Kyle Pitts. The word is that they are not actively looking to trade him but that depends on the offers that they receive. If the price is right, who knows what could happen? 

In QB news, Michael Penix Jr has made mixed impressions on the team at Organised Team Activities (OTAs) this week. After a rocky start to the activities, he has shown up daily with real fire and determination to prove that he is our franchise star. 

Restricted free agent Ryan Neuzil has signed a $9.5 million deal to stay with the Falcons and help to secure that offensive line. He has consistently proven himself to be an asset to the team. 

Star of last season, Darnell Mooney has his eyes on the prize after falling just short of a 1000-yard season in 2024. His hopes for a great season are not unrealistic after seeing the undeniable chemistry between him and QB Michael Penix in the latter part of the season. 

In comedy news from the Falcons social media team, in a post that has since been deleted, the Falcons sent out a tweet sharing a moment from OTAs whereby Jessie Bates III (number 3) was standing next to Mike Ford Jr (number 28). A scoreline that is etched into the minds of Falcons fans everywhere following “THAT” Super Bowl. 

Outgoing QB, Kirk Cousins’ future is still up in the air. With the rumour mill spinning suggestions that the Steelers may end up coming after Cousins if Aaron Rodgers does not make a decision quickly. Which is slightly ironic given Cousins' inability to do anything quickly last season. Teams also open to a QB currently include division rivals, the New Orleans Saints.
