BANNED and Disgraced

Former Baltimore Ravens kicker, Justin Tucker, has received a 10 game suspension by the NFL for "violating the league's personal conduct policies" in a series of allegations made against him. The kicker comes off the back of his worst professional season statistically into even more bad news. The suspension was ruled as a result of 16 therapists from 8 different Baltimore based spa and wellness centres speaking out about his behaviour at their facilities. 

Between 2012 and 2016, it is alleged that Tucker exposed himself to a number of therapists whilst undergoing treatments. Tucker "vehemently denies" all allegations and, in a statement by his legal team, we have seen them advise him to accept the sanction so that he can get back to playing football. 

The suspension does not exclude the current free agent from attending practices or signing with a potential new team. He can also participate in all off season training activities and play in the pre-season games set to kick off in August. He cannot however, play in regular season games up to and including week 10 of the forthcoming season. 

Rogers' Swan Song

Infamous quarterback, Aaron Rodgers has finally announced his decision to retire after this season. In an exclusive interview with Pat McAfee, he stated "I'm pretty sure this is it" when asked about his plans for the future. He has recently penned just a one year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers and claims the reason for this is to not waste their time. 

Arguably, his retirement comes a season or 3 too late for some fans but this will be music to the ears of some of us. 

NFL Top 100 Premiers

On Monday 30th June, we are treated to a new countdown show of the top 100 players. The X Originals series will be released every weekday in 3-5 minute episodes running all the way through to August 29th Each day we will see 2 new players highlighted with 10 players highlighted per week. Every player is voted for by current NFL players.
